hi all i have a problem with my 2005 2.2 dci primera .it has a very uneven and low idle even when hot was wondering if anyone had a clue what could cause this many thanks

My first port of call would be the air filter. My son has a 2014 Merc A Class diesel and it's made a difference ever since I cleaned enough material for a bird to make a nest out of the filter and housing! The P12 filter housings generally are easy snap-ons. A good vac and clean out may show results.
