There is a single loud click from front end of my P11 when braking and accelerating back. (Feels like its coming from the driver side wheel or directly under the drivers feet) It also happens sometimes when hitting a pot hole. I've been trying to isolate this to the source for some time and haven't been successful.Confused

Any leads will be appreciated. Also I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with brakes since a full overhaul was done recently.

Does it do it on full lock too ? If so could be a CV joint . Does it happen going over speed bumps or potholes as well ?

Not happening on full lock. Definitely not CV joints. But ya sometimes it happens on potholes.

Start with the simple things. See if wheel nuts are tight, then the centre nut. Then work around with other components. May be a simple thing.

All the links were replaced. Shocks were replaced too. Only things that were not replaced are the coil springs and the rubber mounts on the strut tower. I think the springs have no life left in them and planning to go with coilovers soon. It's driving me nuts when moving in stop and go traffic Cry

I've had the same ,it comes and goes.Mine is due to the top door minge being worn. What happens is when you brake/accel the body flexes and hence the noise.
