The driver’s electric window switch on a P11 is sticking and sometimes does not work at all. How difficult is it to remove the switch and fit a new one? Thanks |

Welcome to the club. I have removed the switch on mine before but can't exactly remember how easy it is to do. I'd go and have a look but my car's not with me right now - hopefully somebody else can help!

Thanks for the quick response and the welcome. I’ve hand a quick look but can’t see if it’s just a case of removing the plastic switch surround. I don’t want to risk breaking something through trial and error.

Very Easy to do. I'd recommend removing the door card, this is done but pulling it from the bottom left corner, there's a small place for you to do this on the underside. If you then disconnect the electrics to the switch, and then push the tab beneath the switch housing, it'll come out. Easier to replace the whole switch unit, rather than just the single rocker switch.
Hopefully that makes some sense. Merry Christmas Jim |

Thanks Jim, it seems strait forward from you instructions. I’ll try it when the weather is a bit better. Thanks again for your help. |
