    Posted: 05 Jan 2010 at 9:00am
My clocks have the temp flashing on them instead of displaying the time.
I have a car fitted with Air-Con.
The time is only displayed when the ignition is switched off?
I have recently fitted a new clamp on my battery earth terminal so the settings were reset.
Now when driving the temp just flashes away when I'd rather be looking at a clock if possible?

Any ideas as to how I may change this or not?

Cheers

Steve

I assume its a GT you have then mate, on your Wiper stalk there is a button, keep pressing it there are also other functions it does. usually the temp will flash when the outside air drops below 4 degree's

For a man of no words, the Stig is surprisingly correct.

The temp flash is a warning to let you know the roads may be icy.  If you press the button on the wiper stalk it will go back to the time display.

Thanks Guys, I'll have a look at lunchtime. I do actually have a 2.0 SLX model. On which stalk will this button be?

Cheers again,
Steve

Hmmm...strange Might be that someone has stuck the GT clocks in an SLX model.

Anyways it will be on the Wiper stalk mate, on the right. What temp number flashes on the dials?

I wouldn't have thought GT clocks would work without the GT ecu.

Maybe it's one of those super rare P11's that had the GT engine in a non-GT car.
