Hi.
I hope you'll excuse me for my basic english. I'll try to be more clearly as possible. I have a Nissan Primera P12, with the same problem shown in this post: I have tried to desolder the case that contains the transistor, but it's very difficoult and I failed. So I wish disinstall the dvd rom and the navigation system to use radio/Cd and heating controls. it is possible? thank you Lucien |

Welcome Lucien,
Where are you from?
I was looking at this sometime ago
Laptop repair companies have repaired some of the DVDs in the UK
You could maybe find one where you live?
Good luck

I'm from italy.
I'm searching for someone who can repair in italy but I found nothing. I will go, as soon as possible in a nissan point but i guess that the repair, or a new dvd rom, will be very expensive. furthermore the navigator is outdated...but maybe in this moment I HATE the navigator thank you for you interest |

Try Clarion http://www.clarion.it/home.asp
Clarion in the UK send the navigators to Xanavi in Japan for repair. Normal price is £130.

Hi,
Clarion in italy are going to fail. They tell me that they can't solve my problem. In a Nissan assistence point they can repair my car, with a cost of €800, and they tell me that it's not possible to disinstall the navigator. That's incredible. It's easier to change country.... |
