Hi
As a newcomer I would appreciate some help! My 2001 P11-144 has suddenly developed a fault with the heater blower fan - it doesn't work on auto or on Lo/Medium lo manual settings, but will work on med-hi and hi settings. The aircon itself works and the temperature adjusts properly with the selector. I have had sight of a tech manual but it's like double dutch! Any tips? In anticipation of someone with the knowledge answering, Yorkie666 |

Hi, I had a similar problem on my GT, which was fixed by fitting a replacement resistor card. Easy, cheap and quick fix.
Pretty sure the P11-144 will be the same. Welcome to the club by the way. |

Hi Geordie
Thanks for your reply. I think if I remove the front panel with fan switches are on the resistors etc are behind but I'm not sure - also, where did you source the resistor pack? Any help with locating the bits within the car and for replacement stock would help. Thanks again Yorkie666 |

The heater fan resistor pack is behind the glovebox. You don't need to remove the glovebox.
Look up behind it. The resistor has a 4 way connector with 2 screws holding it in place.
It looks like this. The connector part on the right is the what you will see when you look up.

Thanks for the suggestions re resistor pack. It was indeed easy to replace and fixed the problem, if it goes again I'll try to source one elsewhere than the dealer as the retail price is .....wait for it....£50 inc. vat. Still, I'm sure it would have cost me more than that in labour charges if i'd asked them to check out the problem.......
