My SR20DE lowport is dead. Ik have a donorcar that holds a highport SR20DE the question is, will i just have to replace the ECU or does the whole wiring harness has to be replaced also? the lowport is a redtop from a p10 1994 thx in advance! |

After having a very busy time at work I found some time to work on my car. Apperently the wiring isn't the same. the lowport has more connectors. Should i only change the cabletree in the enginebay? than i don't have to get the dash and stuff out to change the inside cabletree also. Thx in advance |

interesting to know that there is a big difference in the wiring between the two...have you tried to compare the two sets of wiring looms and try and see which connections are extra? and yeah you would only really need to change whats in the engine bay are, not everything inside the car.. |

i did some research and some say it's because the sensors on my lowport are ODBII But i thought this was only on the RR engines. tomorrow i'm gettings my engine harness from the highport next to the lowport version. It's storede at a different location. Thx for the quick reply mate! |

non of the P10s have OBD II so it can definately not be anything to do with that.
