Could you explain where to drain and refill.

Wink Just changed my manual 6 speed transmission oil  easy job there are 2 plugs on the side of the  of the box  on the nearside(in  uk) the filler plup is nearer the front and higher adjacent to the front  engine mount the drain plug lower and to the rear near diff housing to check level park on level ground let the car stand for 10 mins after switching engine off remove lower engine cover first  to gain access to plugs  and remove upper filler plug the level should be just below the level of filler plug so if req,s topping up just add enough till it dribbles out of filler hole if changing oil total refill is a different matter as the hole is restricted so takes forever to fill I ended up using a 500ml syringe with a thin tube to get round the bend found it quicker & easier than relying on gravity to do the job.One word of warning if draining oil remove filler plug first as there done up tight as hell (snapped 1 hex socket on mine and twisted another) as if you drain it first and  can,t remove filler plug your stuffed with a transmission with no lube good luck.
