Well, I've checked parts numbers and they're the same from 1996-2002 for the 2 litres.  I'm picking a used one up today as I need it back up and running asap, but will buy 2 new ones as soon as funds allow.  Whats the score with this balancer thingy?  How do I remove it?

Thanks for all the advice guys managed to get one fitted last night from a local car breaking, god bless my Stevie for fitting it in the dark and cold on my driveway last night.  I'll post some pics up of the old one but as previously pointed out by others, it did in fact snap at the balancer weight.  Gonna order a pair of new ones as soon as funds allow and remove those bloody things before fitting!
