Hi Folks

Not totally clued up on engine maintenance here so all help would be great..
The Engine Management Light has just come on and the Screen is telling me to go to Nissan To avoid causing any more car Problems... I wasn't aware that I had any car problems..
Is there a way of going through the Screen to find out Self diagnostics what the problem is and why the light has come on... We had an Almera before this and that used to have the same light come on a lot and the local garage said it was a sensor that had tripped !!!! He reset it but it came back after a little while.. So Im puzzled !!!
Any Tech / Petrol Heads that can help.....
Thanks in Advance... Tom

Not through the screen, but
http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/p12-all-engines-read-reset-ecu-fuel-pump_topic54932.html

count the flashesof the eml, four digit codes have four sequences of short flashes divided by slightly longer flashes.

The reset is the last step. First it flashes the code sequence.

All codes consist of 4 digits.
Most codes start with zero which is represented by 10 ( relative to the others ) slow flashes followed by slightly quicker flashes with time gaps between them.
Ounce you have read and understood the codes then turn ign off and codes will remain. Perform the last step if you want to clear the fault codes from memory.

When you have the code / codes then lookup the service manual to see what they relate to.
If in doubt give it a clout!
