Nissan Primera P12 F9Q fuel filter

Does anyone have an howto for accessing the fuel filter on a P12 with F9Q engine?

The FSM suggest to start with removing wiper motor. I suppose this would reveal an opening where the fuel filter can be accessed. But there is no such opening above the filter! There are sound protecting cover and steel blocking for access to the filter.

The FSM is correct. you'll need to take off the wipers, then the panels. Otherwise there's no room to take the cap off the filter housing and the filter out of that. Sounds worse than it is.
