I'm looking at just getting my backbox changed on my car. I don't want it to be too loud so would just getting the backbox changed give me a change in sound or make it any louder? Also could anyone recommend a nice raspy sounding backbox. Thanks in advance.

Just changing the back box will make it much louder,the tone/sound depends on the design etc of the backbox. Avoid the cheap ebay ones.

To be fair for what it costs for a good back box you could get a cat back system such as powerflow ect.

What would the price be for a catback exhaust? The backboxes I was looking at were around £60 - £70, can't see my getting a catback for the same price? Thanks.

I dropped on one off ebay for £15 and £25 postage , a Powerflow cat back system .....
The neighbours love it ........ NOT !! [//] Tis a tad loud , worse now Ive had a ebay front system. Removing the precat can cause issues with MOT's though |
