Hi guys,

Just wondered if its possible to swap out the single cd unit in my P12 for a multi changer unit from a brakers car? Is the wiring and functionality all present? Also, I've a phone button on my console but no idea if or how it connects?

You don't mention the age of your P12 it is important.
Highly unlikely the phone kit was fitted, so few were, again where it would be fitted would depend of the which P12 you have

Ah... Its a 2003... The button Is clearly marked, but its just a base model... Single CD no camera, no sat nav...

Your P12 is the 1st edition, therefore there is multi- changer that fits in the boot on the off side,  now, the wiring loom is included generally but we are aware the sometimes it is not. the wiring loom also connects in to the back of the original head unit. A multi-cd changer form the face lift P12 will not work in your car.
 A search on here will find you threads on this.
Phone kit would go where the cup holders sit in the centre adjacent to the handbrake. So if you have cup holders, you don't have the phone kit.
