Hi,
Appreciate if you could let me know as how do I change side lights on my Nissan Primera P12. Do I have to take the whole head light assembly out ? Thanks in advance for your help! |

Bulb Replacement EKS004PAHEADLAMP 1. Disconnect connector of headlamp. 2. Unlock retaining spring, then remove bulb. CLEARANCE LAMP, FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP 1. Turn the bulbsocket counterclockwise and unlock it. 2. Remove the bulb from its socket. Clearance lamp : 12V - 5W Front turn signal lamp : 12V - 21W |

Thanks Timeshock for such a swift response, but apologies for asking daft question.
I opened the bonnet and removed the dust cover, I could get access to only the headlight. How would I get access to the side light bulbs ? May be I am missing something here! |

Let's just have a quick chat about terminology and believe me between the owners manual and the service manual they refer to two different terms for the same bulb. for what you call the side light (As Nissan owners manual) the service manual calls it the Clearance lamp. Therefore, it is not the rubber cover you remove but turn the lever to the side and above the cover.

Tucked under the wing part on top of the headlight you will see a white plastic stick. that is what you need to turn as the sidelight bulb is on the end of it.
