Nissan Primera P12 2004 (post facelift) 1.9dci (F9Q) 6 speed manual

I have a oil leak between the oil pan and engine. Does anyone know if I need to remove the gearbox/clutch housing from engine in order to get the oil pan off?

Are you sure it's from the sump itself or it could be the rear main crank seal?
