Standard brakes just don't do it for me. The GT is in my opinion seriously under braked. The overall braking power at high speed with the S14 calipers is very impressive. The bite is somewhat missing but thats because im using standard nissan S14 brakepads. I'm going for EBC yellowstuff when they wear out.

But to reply to your question. No I dont notice any decrease in overall brake behavior. What's a mbc+booster?
Sorry for not being clear enough :)
mbc = main brake cylinder
booster is the big black part between the main brake cylinder and the chassis :

I'm very happy to hear you feel the brake power great after the conversion !
And a Seat Cupra lip will be probably a better choice :

It needs a little extension.

Cheers mate. I kinda agree but besides the cupra lip , which in my opinion is worse still, I don't know any other splitter/bumper lips. You got any suggestions?

I see what you did here! Thats awesome! The standard cupra lip doesn't align properly with the GT bumper, so you cut it in half im guessing? Got any more detailed pics?

Thanks for sharing the TT photos too, they are pretty cool!  Especially like the beer pump in that pub!

No, mate , this is not my car, but looks very close to mine.
Here is mine :

But I still haven't installed the Cupra lip...
I'm on "performance" wave now :)
I think it has to be extended in the middle , but how much - I can't say.
It fits to N16 without extension, but with other "tricks" .
I'm sure we have  few members here , who have installed the lip already on their GTs and they will bring some light here Wink.

I've fitted one to my 144 and it sits perfectly without needing to be cut or extended in the middle. The ends need trimming slightly as its about 2 inch to long though
