Just had my AC filled up, but its not coming out cold.
I'm driving a 2.2TDi Diesel T-Spec No leaks were detected on the test, its been charged with 00.505kg and had oil charged 10ml. Does this sound right? Any thoughts on why its not cold? The compressor pump kicks in when the AC button is pressed. |

Maybe a daft question but have you turned the temperature switch down to low.
When you switch the AC on, the engine revs should increase slightly

If you have had it filled at a garage, take it back as they should have tested it was working before you left.

Yes the temp is set to low (18c), also the engine revs increase. Don't really want to be fleeced by a garage, so do you have any other thoughts? |

As said earlier take it back to the garage that did the work and ask them, the machine they used should have instantly told them if there was a leak and should not have let it gas the system. If it was a very slow leak then it should have run cold for a while.
Your only other option is to take it to someone reputable and pay again, if they find you have a leak and can't re-gas it they probably wont charge you. |
