I had been after my mum's p12 for a while and finally I get it, she's just bought Quasqai, thinking great it's been regularly serviced and Iooked after.... Couple of day's in And I feel a issue and Speak to mum and she says it's not quite been right.... I have now found the issue and it's a blocked catalytic converter so I now need help. I don't have the money for a new one right now is there a way to unblock/clean it or somewhere to get a cheap replacement or used one ??? PLEASE HELP.... I am looking forward to doing this up eventually... 2005 1.8s petrol p12

Buy a new cat off ebay , Or you can try filling up with petrol and using fuel injector and cat cleaner for a week or two and blast it down the motorway a couple of times , this should help remove some of the carbon build up. I had this problem with a couple of cars that had in the past that had just been used round town at slow speeds all the time and it worked a trick. Just do the motorway blasted slowly build it up each run because if you go balls out first off you can blow a hole in the cat because of the blockage. Or just change the cat ,its only four nuts and two gaskets. Hope this help mate.
Cheers.
