^ Yes, I have tried certain additives (like redex) and other stuff, think I have got more mpg out and think it does boost the octane rating allowing for a more even and slower burn on ignition point. Also car seems to run alot smoother with abit more power with no pinking type feel- still experimenting but reckon it does make a good difference with better mpg and smoother power.

Hello n welcome
I'm led to believe using Red X isn't good for the Nissan injectors . Now n then is ok but not often , replacing the fuel filter often will help keep the car running well , as will regular servicing |

Thanks for the cautionary note naughtynorm, I'll be sure not to overdo it with the Redex.
By all accounts The Primera has just had a full service. A plus point is the engine having a timing chain... one more reason to keep an eye on the oil etc. |

Is Redex meant to gum the injectors up or something Norm? Anyone know what is actually in Redex? |
