Dear NPOC,
My P11-144 has a QG16DE engine which runs well with 155000 Km on the clock. However, I have noticed a metallic rattling noise from time to time when idling. Is there something that needs to be serviced as QG16DE has a timing chain? Thanks!! |

Yes twin chain set up and its possible it could be something to do with them,check the chain tensioner and see how far the plunger is sticking out..other things that could rattle at idle is a loose heat shield, or bad pullies.
