Hi all, I own a '99 Primera GT LE in the blue. I have just snapped a clutch cable, and I found the site whilst looking for information about changing it!
Now I am keen to find out more... Regards Andy! |

Cable replaced...
Easy job, but access to bits is nye on impossible. Had to remove front wheel, jack up and only just got to a silly bracket under the car. Took a couple of hours fighting to remove the cable at the gear box end. Have to pull the cable out of the rubber grommet, then remove the rubber grommet. You have to do the opposite to refit it, having let all the slack out to give you the length you need. The bracket on the bulk head requires a long arm and a ratchet spanner and little hands. I have the first two, but not the little hands, so it took a whle... All done now, waiting for a test drive tomorrow, and any adjustment! |
