My P12 died in much similar way and I posted about it back in August

Since its been at a different mechanics who has unsuccessfully tried various things. However looking at this thread I'm wondering could this fix be applicable in my case. Would really like to know if any experts here can comment looking at my original thread.

Thanks

I am struggling to see the similarites between this thread and your original post. The error codes are not consistant nor the black smoke. It looks like a stretched timing chain which I believe has already been suggested.

That problem is definitely timing chain, if you have no power when you tramp the shoe, and espillily uphill, the reson the sencor shows up is because there is 3 sencoron the engine and 3 on the chain it's self and if they don't meet at the same time it causes the pc to show up that th sencor is bucked, a timing chain on the bay of the e is 193 Inc vat to the best of my. knowledge, and Nissan can put it on the pc and check the timing, or if you got a look at the tentioner you could tell but Nissan is the easily way

I think I may try a SCV kit as mine has gone into limp mode a couple of times, but did not conect that with the recent developments

Hi madmanc1964 and welcome to the forumHandshake

if the problem is with fuelling on the desiel then 99.999% it is going to be the SCVs very rare we we see problems with the pump.
