Hi guys,
I posted a little while ago and got a reply before my post was deleted but i thought I'd post again in case anyone had some further guidance/ideas. This is my third primera and it has driven beautifully for 3 years. For quite a while the check engine light has been on but other than that no complaints until recently i started losing acceleration and once it stalled going about 40mph into a bend. I ran the diagnostic and it came up with 0355 - crankshaft position sensor fault. Got myself a replacement and fitted it but now it really struggles to start and the problem with acceleration is constant rather than every now and again. The reply i got last time said my cam chain had stretched but i really can't work out how replacing the sensor made the issue so much worse. Any suggestions? If it is the cam chain that would seal the cars fate so I'm in denial lol Any advice is seriously appreciated. Thanks for reading! Oliver |
