Dear all,

Quick question, does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the aim of the headlamp washers on a P12 SVE with HID lights? Happened to spot the other day that my nearside one is fine, but the offside one is partially missing the lamp and spraying the bonnet instead! It's as if the jets need aiming downwards a fraction.

There's no previous crash damage and in all other respects the washers work fine.

Thanks!
Pretty new to Nissan ownership but very impressed so far!

Hmm..Nothing in the ESM about direction alteration just checking of operation, guess you are going to have to inspect to see what it is that is causing the issue, dirt or actual operation /projection/direction of the washer

Not adjustable in my experience.
Had to replace one about four years back cause a ball blew out.
Having to replace both now due to harsh winter and stupidly not pulling the fuse or putting antifreeze
windscreen fluid in. £92 !!  f*** tit that I am.
If in doubt give it a clout!

Thanks all,

Turned out to be a case of bumper misalignment. Not really noticeable from the front, but while washing the car at the weekend I happened to spot several of the push-type plastic rivets missing from underneath the bumper and the offside wheel arch. Replaced them (luckily I had a bag of them in the garage) and hey-presto, back to full working order. Wink
