Hi I have a 2005 2.2 dci,I had the egr cleaned out 4 months ago and it was also stuck in the closed position, but now has no power when accelerating I also noticed when I removed the pipe going to the turbo boost valve I think it's called that ? There was very little suction and also the metal rod under the valve with a kink in it does not move on start up but will move by hand. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Hi Daniel and a big welcome to NPOC.
I've changed the topic title from: Nissan primers P12 TO: Nissan Primera P12 no power when accelerating This means that we're not going to remove this topic due to an invalid title (again). Please make sure you always use full and correct topic title. Enjoy the forums and take care,

The rod (actuator) should move when pressing the throttle. If it's only moving by hand then there's no vacuum or is sticking hence no boost when accelerating.
Take it you haven't heard ant hissing/sucking noises or anything like that? |

Yes we know it's a p12 now.No need to say once it's in the title mate.
The actuator could be stuck open and bleeding off all the time hence no boost. You could try to fix the actuator in a different position with a metal cable tie then drive it and see if you get boost. If so then it's a faulty actuator. |

Cleaning the boost sensor may also help,if it's dirty and not sending the signal the turbo wont boost.

Is the boost sensor on the air filter box or the one at the side with 3 rubber pipes on ?

It's on the metal pipe(the big boost pipe)down side of the engine. The 3 rubber pipes you are referring too are for a solenoid iirc.
