Hi I find it hard to lift my boot on a Nissan Primera Hatchback P12.

Could it be the boot struts need replacing.

Hi, welcome to the forum Thumbs Up

So the boot opens every time, it's just hard to lift?

I would disconnect one end of each strut and just see whether the lifting is a little smoother, just to see if the struts might have seized up and be working against you. If this gets easier, you know you would need new struts.

If the struts are not seized in any way, does the tailgate stay in the open position, or does it need t be held, does it crash shut?

Hi
i have tried suggestions and the struts are not seized at all. When i open the tailgate,i have to manually
lift it up.where i think it should rise up on its own by the gas, hydraulics of the struts ?.it has never opened properly since i bought the car . also i can stop it half way and it will just stay there not crash shut.regards.
