As we did last year with an annual review of the year, it was well received by all - So let's do it again! So to replace our normal Car Of The Month (just for January), we are doing a special Feature instead.

In this feature, we're gonna look back at 2010 with a month by month snap shotClap

I'm going to highlight the club meets, previous COTM winners, the monthly photo competition winner(s) and I'm also going to pick out some of my favourite modifications done to the members cars each month.. To top it off, I'm also going to remind us all of some of the great news our members have shared in their private lives too.

Through out the feature you'll find some personal yearly reviews and feedback from some of members - Many thanks to those of you who took the time to do this.Thumbs Up

So has the cat boiled? Has the kettle been fed / dog been walked? Sit down, scroll down and enjoy the bestest memories of the yearBig smile

Before you get stuck in... Last year some members felt that their mods or news should have been featured in this yearly review, sadly I can't feature everything in here! Last years feature had over 500 photographs in it and took a good week to write etc. Just because you're not in this feature, doesn't mean anything negative - It's purely down to scale.

January 2010

January saw the 1st outing of a feature just like you're reading now!!

"Jason_sri" picked up these wheels from another member on NPOC and then sprayed them white, at the same time the car got lowered as wellClap

Members Competition (and random photos):

There was no members competition during January (we all took a break LOL), so here's some random members piccies instead:

Members personal news:

Notable congratulations went out to...

"Peetee" for getting behind the wheel of DILLIGAF after 4 months without driving.

"barrakuda" for taking his first steps onto the property ladder.

"harrisg" for returning from his tour in Afghanistan safe and sound.

Members yearly review:

Over to "Jim" and his feedback.......!

As a (strictly) online member this year, I've missed out on all of the events, or so you would think. The images and information that people have relayed online afterwards have been fantastic, and really made me feel like I was at each and everyone.

The forums have been lively as ever, and a great laugh to boot, with plenty of new mods, ideas, information and lots of giggles to boot, with no thanks to Norm.

I can't highlight any one single thing as such, so I'll happily say the Members are my 2010 Highlight of the NPOC!

February 2010

Car of the Month in February 2010 went to "p11sr20" and his glorious Nissan Primera P11 GT in the hard to find BT3 colour.

Congratulations go to "p11sr20"!

Club Meets:

This month there was a Northern meet in Sheffield, very well attended as well!

The Southern members had a meet in Shoreham (Brighton). The weather was poor but the company and cars were as good as always!

You can view all our past club meets in our dedicated photo archive sections, found here:

National Meets: http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=4 - http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=4
Regional Meets: http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=53 - http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=53

Shaun's fav mods from February went to...:

"Jim" and his faithfull P11 GT, known as "GeeTee", after he debadged the rear end and then fitted some clear rear corners - The result was fantastic!

"lpw0577" got busy on the front of his Nissan Primera GTLE installing this black vinyl wrap on the centre of the bumper.

"Geordie" started off the quest for more BHP this month by fitting this Stainless Steel manifold to his Nissan Primera P11.

Members Competition (and random photos):

Onto our long standing monthly members photography competition - Round 32 entitled 'Rock n Roll', ended in February and voting took place, giving us our winner and huge congratulations to "Quaily" for his winning entry:

A cold and frosty morning greeted "riggsy99" and his tasty black Primera P11 GT and inspired him to grab his camera and take this photo:

With "Dyps" lovely white Nissan Primera P11 GT being an ex police car, it was ironic that the Old Bill would take a fancy to it and then make him aware of these:

Great action photos but worth the 3 points LOL?LOL

Members personal news:

Double Congratulations to "dyp" and "GemGemz" for the birth of their baby boy, Kaii. And also for getting engaged, let's start planning that NPOC wedding.
Congratulations to "aryzalp" for getting a new job teaching Dutch.

Our big thanks to "Jim" for taking on the task of making some new banners for the forums.

Members yearly review:

Over to "Riggsy99" and his feedback.......!

My take on 2010 starts here:

You guys, (yourself, Ade and G) - If it wasn't for you guys, the time, money and preparation for all the big meetings in the year, none of this (NPOC) would be possible. I think you guys are the best.

Highlights of the year:

Well i'd have to start with the awards that I have won. The first, my Car Of The Month award, it made me feel over the moon when you told me I had won, I couldn't believe it! Then in the same month, my second award, Best P11 on the club stand at JAE - It came as such a surprise, I wasn't expecting it.

Next comes all the meetings, especially the biggies. I Loved them all. It was my second year attending JAE but definately the best. Cazza's BBQ's were the best ever, as well as the free chilli on friday and brekkie on sunday morning. The whole of NPOC is a cracking community to be a part of, JAE wouldn't be the same if it wasn't.

Then come the local meets - It has been great to hook up with the local rabble every month. It's good to know so many people in my area, it makes being a member of NPOC well worth while.

Discounts, well where do I start? It is superb knowing that when I pay my £48 a year (as an Elite Member), I know I'm gonna get so much more back from you guys. I think everyone should become an Elite Member just to get these great offers and discounts.

All the charity work that goes on within the club, especiallly the LEJOG fundraiser this year. raising all the money for cancer charities to help all those unfortunate to get the disease. I think it would be great if the club could do more stuff like this.

Well, to sum up 2010..... It's been fantastic, roll on 2011!

March 2010

Car of the Month in March 2010 went to "Quaily" and his "last off the line" Nissan Primera P11 GT LE in shiny shiny black!. Lovingly referred to by the owner as the "Black Beast", it was a very well received feature.

Congratulations go to "Quaily"!

You can read the full COTM interview and view the rest of the photos here:

http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/march-2010-quaily_topic38220.html - http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/march-2010-quaily_topic38220.html

Club Meets:

The Southern members met up at Portsdown Hill for a burger and chat:

Staying down South but further to the West. There was a meet in Liskeard.

Shaun's fav mods from March went to...:

"GT768" fitted this Honda Accord Type R spoiler onto his Nissan Primera GT. The side profile of this car is fantastic:

"P11Robb" refurbished a set of GT alloys painting them black and fitting them to his Mystic Nissan Primera GTSE - Most people wouldn't have thought a black alloy would go with a Mystic - It does:

"Ben Johnson" fitted a couple of HKS goodies to his Nissan Primera P11. First up is this mushroom filter to feed the engine with some additional air.

Sadly there aren't many NPOC members modding their Nissan Primera P12's. "bigsydney" is a P12 owner that does enjoy modding his car. This month he's fitted a set of lower springs dropping the car by 30mm. It's looking very aggressive from the front end now with the custom made bumper. Good work, we're all loving this car:

Members Competition (and random photos):

Round 32 of the Photo Competition ended at the start of March. The theme was 'Supernatural', our winner in this round was "johnbr6" with this spooky picture:

And we also managed round 33 during March as well - With the theme 'Height'. There were some stunning entries but our winner was "GaryeGT" with this amazing picture:

"Jim" shared this great photo of the GeeTee getting camera shy:

And "johnbr6" showed us this picture he had drawn (of his P10) for an art exam:

Without trying to turn this feature into an obituary for members cars, we lost a goodun during March.. Say farewell to the "Purple Dragon", as "Tom-P10" shared this pictures of his Nissan Primera P10 after losing grip in a corner. We're all gutted but glad he wasn't physically hurt:

The Purple Dragon may be with the mechanic in the sky but Tom-P10 wasn't without a Primera for long. He picked up this 'Red Devil' Nissan Primera eGT. Very good timing this one coming up for sale.

Members personal news:

Notable congratulations go to "Neilistic", "MysticMike" and "Tom-P10" for moving into new houses!

A massive congratulations to "essNchill", "Stevie-Boy" and "Blue" for completing their NPOC LEJOG charity run - And of course a huge thank you to everyone that donated to the NPOC LEJOG charity causeClap

April 2010

Car of the Month in April 2010 went to "Geordie" and his "black and green" themed Nissan Primera P11 GT!

And on the same day a few hundred miles away in the South at Winchester, the Southerners hooked up and then went off to the pub for lunch, a pint and some banter:

You can see the rest of the Winchester Meet photo's in our NPOC Meets Photo Archive Section here:

And to show that you don't need loadsa club cars to have fun, 4 club members met up for an impromptu mini meet near Sheffield:

Shaun's fav mods from April went to...:

"prim-n-proper" made some big changes to his Nissan Primera P10 eGT (his old one as I write this) during March.. In April the crowning piece was fitted, the new alloys!! So here you go with the finished article (it also shows the changes to the front end from March):

"rjwood_uk" is the proud owner of a rare Cerise coloured Nissan Primera P11. This month he's been very busy making a load of changes but the cherry for me (as always) was the addition of some NPOC branding:

"yogi" has one of the tidiest Nissan Primera P11 144's in the club. This month he's made it look even better with a new bumper and a brand new set of wheels:

"primevilbob" painted the calipers on his Nordic GT and fitted these drilled and grooved discs and a set of EBC greenstuff pads:

Members Competition (and random photos):

Only one round of the Photo Competition took place in April. Round 34's theme was "Wildlife" and it was won by "harrisg" with this incredible photo of a robin sat on the wing mirror of his P10:

You gotta love those Scottish robins... Tame as you likeLOL

One of our overseas members "schwen", took a few pictures of his car in the forest. Unfortunately most of them didn't turn out so good but he shared this one with us of his immaculate Nissan Primera P10:

"harrisg" set off in search of a horse he could ride.. Win:

And to close the NPOC LEJOG charity fundraiser (which was completed during March).. Here you go:

The total with Gift Aid was actually £1878.73Clap

Members personal news:

Massive congats went out to "Doug" & "Raven" on the birth of their daughter Elizabeth.

And congratulations to "doz_SR20" for securing a job at Rogue Motorsports for when he finishes at University.

Members yearly review:

Over to "GT Janner" and his feedback.......!

Well for me especially this year having no Primera at the moment, hasn't effected my love for NPOC one bit, because as always mentioned, NPOC is about the people first then the cars! The club is just filled with loving, honest, funny and like minded people from all different backgrounds. I can't really put into words how this club effects my every day life and how I deal with it, but it seems that in many areas of my life I can relate back to NPOC, with its infinite wisdom of info and general talk of life, love, ideas and situations that we can all share and gain from.

Without a Primera, I log in every day to just look at these stunning cars, read funny threads and keep up with the NPOC world, if I were to never log into NPOC again my life would be so dull and boring LOL. This place and the members give me so much hope and inspiration and admiration.

I've attended a few local meets this year plus my first Ace meet and loved every one and wished the day would last longer.

I could go on alot longer you know LOL

Ok my take on 2010 was more about my experience of NPOC as a whole because I feel sometimes, that without my old GT I'm more on the outside observing the fun you guys are having, but I chip in when I can whether it be helpful or just pure spam!

May 2010

Car of the Month in May 2010 went to "Mad-Maru" and his turbo Nissan Primera P11 "GTT". There aren't many turbo conversions in the club but we all agree that this is one of the finest!

Congratulations go to "Mad-Maru"!

Club Meets:

At the start of the month a small meet took place in the Midlands.

May also saw us attend the first big event of the year. Japfest at Castle Coombe Circuit. We took over the local Little Chef for our pre meet and then setup our stand of over 60 cars

Shaun's fav mods from May went to...:

"moogymum" picked up a set of white wheels for her Nissan Primera GTSE "Arthur":

"Ollierockk" reduced the arch gap of his Nissan Primera GT with a set of lowering springs:

"dyp" unveiled a new rocker cover for Japfest on his Nissan Primera GT, white to match the white exterior:

"Blue" put a collection of NPOC goodies into his Nissan Primera GT. First off an NPOC air freshener:

And also one of the very limited edition NPOC tax disc holders:

Members Competition (and random photos):

Round 35 of the Photography Competion took place this month. The theme was "Spade", which seemed a bit odd but thinking outside the box we saw some great entries from the NPOC members.

The winning entry came from "moogymum" who offed one of her kids in the quest for fame and fortune :

At the end of the day at Japfest there were only a handful of members left so "GaryeGT" and "Tom-P10" parked up their cars and had a photo shoot of their two Nissan Primera eGT's together, this photo also shows "GaryeGT"s lovely gold alloys that he fitted a few months earlier:

Huge respect for "DaMasterPNut". Not only did he travel all the way from The Netherlands for Japfest with the NPOC, he also stopped to try and help out a fellow NPOC member "doug" when his driveshaft had snapped:

Members personal news:

Congratulations to "dagger" who has celebrated his 13th Wedding Anniversary.

And on the same theme...

Congratulations to "shurv" who got married this month!!

Also not forgetting a BIG shout for "DaMasterPNut" who as you'll see from the above piccy, stopped to help out one of guys and they'd never met before.. Primera love fellasClap

June 2010

As is tradition for June, Car of the Month changed to a Feature of the Month. We looked back over Japfest which took place in May and was and held at Castle Coombe circuit.

As usual NPOC had one of the biggest stands there and a great day out was had by all. The sun even graced us with it's presence and gave us all a nice shiny glow to take home.

The day started out with us taking over the Little Chef before rolling into the show in a massive convoy.

Massive thanks to everyone that turned up to represent the clubClap

Club Meets:

The Club took June off! No National or Regional Meets - Though in all fairness, Japfest in May starts the shows calendar and it's hectic from there on.... Prolly a good idea we had a break LOL!

Shaun's fav mods from June went to...:

“GlenSRi” had this set of coach lines added to his Nissan Primera P11, something different, something new = We liked:

“dagger” continued sprucing up his relatively new Nissan Primera P11, with a set of Wind Deflectors:

“Ross” told us he was going to polish his nuts. We all thought it was a little too much information until he unveiled just how shiny he had made the rocker cover nuts on his Nissan Primera eGT, just look at that engine bay!! Also note the lovely new shiny exhaust header he also fitted:

"JapSniper" fitted a set of JDM headlights to his X Reg Nissan Primera P11 GT (yeah an X reg!). Always a great addition...

And he also got low, by fitting these glorious BC coilovers:

Members Competition (and random photos):

Round 36 of the Photography Competion took place this month. The theme was "Fetish", which does sound a little kinky but that's what "moogymum" suggested, after winning the last round! We've decided that the winner of each round will now pick the theme for the next.

So with fetish in mind, here was the winning entry from "Leon_gt" who has some rather sexy friends, as well as good camera technique:

A big well done again!

This round was probably our closest for a long time now, "Leon_gt" won it by just 1 vote!! There were 2 entries tied for second (losing by just 1 vote), so worth a look at them.

"Ollierockk" submitted this:

And "Tom-P10" went with leg:

"sprint" who is no stranger to the race track, finally got his "other car", which also happens to be another Nissan Primera P10 eGT saloon, out for some track action at Oulton Park:

Members personal news:

Our congrats during June went out to..

“markbuts3” & “GaryeGT” for getting a new jobs.
“Ant-Dat” and “JC#79” for both getting through to the final of Total Nissan Idol.
“Raven” and “doug” who have got engaged.
“nordicGT” for getting engaged.
"GlenSRi" for passing his driving test on the first attempt.

Members yearly review:

Over to "prim-n-proper" and his feedback.......!

OK here goes, NPOC in 2010 ..... The highlight of my personal NPOC year has to be JAE, not just because of the best P10 award (although that does rock) but because after a year out of work, it was soooo good to get away and chill with a load of petrolheads who don't give a shit where you're from or what model / engine size or condition of Primera you drive.

We're all "mates", the members are all top people and that's what makes this a great club to be a part of.

I love the idea that we always do something for charity and LEJOG was an epic acheivement, respect to all the participants in that.

Most of all, it's been a fun year, with lots of good hearted mickey taking and banter (PrimeraDave's cams spring to mind) without anything getting too out of hand! Lots of new members to keep us on our toes, some new ideas on the modding front and there's always the feeling that there's a mate out there to talk / moan to at any time of day or night.

Fantastic 2010, bring on 2011!!

July 2010

Car of the Month in July 2010 was awarded to "DaMasterPNut" and his SR20VE powered Nissan Primera. This makes him the very first winner of COTM from The Netherlands:

Congratulations go to "DaMasterPNut"!

You can read the full COTM interview and view the rest of the photos here:

Club Meets:

After having no meets last month we certainly made up for it in July starting off with the annual Ferry Meadows meet near Peterborough. A cracking turn out and we took over most of the car park as usual:

To see the full set of Photo's follow these links:

That wasn't enough for the North East members though as they got out and had a meet the following weekend in Durham:

Shaun's fav mods from July went to...:

“peachyquaver” added a fairly rare set of Nissan branded wind deflectors to his Nissan Primera P10 SRi:

"PrimeraPowa" who is legendary when it comes to sorting out the parts we can't see on his lovely P10 eGT.. Finally fitted something we can see, a set of Nissan Primera P11 GTLE front seats - Hybrid yay!

“truckingracer” had been having a play with the wheels of his Nissan Primera P11 144 going through 3 sets in 3 weeks!! Eventually ending up with these sexy Tooras:

We like to see brand new mods that have never been done before and “MysticMike” has not disapointed. His gorgeous Nissan Primera P11 GTSE has been treated to this completely custom made cold air feed made from an old foglight. It looks fantastic and is certainly an impressive job:

“riggsy99” showed us how low you can go with a set of coilovers, dropping his P11 GT onto the deck:

Members Competition (and random photos):

We had two rounds of the Photography Competition take place this month. The theme for round 37 was "Curious" - The winner of this round was "peetee" who was curious as to what his local birds actually eat:

The theme for round 38 was "Attraction" - The winner this time around was "moneyman1980":

Moving on from the Photography Competition lets take a look at some pictures of our members Nissan Primera's that had been posted throughout July.

"Leon_gt" shared this picture he took while out creating potential entries for the photography competition:

"Geordie" took a drive out to the Angel of the North for a photoshoot and shared this cracking shot with us of his Nissan Primera P11 GT and the Angel herself:

Members personal news:

Big congrats to "Jim" for returning to his old job and securing a placement at Bangor University and "Marc T" who has bought a pub.

August 2010

Car of the Month for August 2010 was awarded to "SRIGUY" and his Nissan Primera P10 SRi:

Congratulations go to "SRIGUY"!

Club Meets:

On the very first day of the month the Southern members gathered at The Royal Coach in Shoreham for a meet, chat and carvery:

Later on in the month was Japfest 2 at Rockingham Motor Speedway. As with many of the big events NPOC turned up in force and also had a large presence on the track:

Here's the NPOC members taking to the track:

Shaun's fav mods from August went to...:

Members yearly review:

Over to "peetee" and his feedback.......!

2010 started off crappy for me as I wasnt driving after my illness but 2 members who deserve a shout out from me are "Ant Dat" and "Gizz" who braved the snow last winter and collected my car from my sisters on a trailer and took it back to Ants who got it running after its winter lay-up, MOT`d it for me and got me back behind the wheel.

It took a while to get back into driving but trips to Japfest, the Scotland meet (where only 1 member out of the 5 who attended actually had a Scottish accent LOL), the NE meet & JAE from Scotland soon got the love back! Cracking meets and awesome company as ever, my middle son also tagged along for Japfest and was really made to feel welcome! At Japfest it was also nice to meet a couple of the Guiness drinkers there and a surprise visit by Laurens also made the trip more worthwhile!

JAE was as usual a totally chilled weekend and many laughs were shared....... "P11SR20" and "Yogi" played a prank on me and I went to bed on Saturday to find someone had stolen it!!!...Oh how I laughed - Payback will be sweet LOL!!

The only other meet I made this year was the Ace Cafe Xmas Meet, which was a personal disaster for me as my Primera let me down 60 miles into my trip! I managed to limp it home and attended the meet in my works van. I had an awesome day and an even better evening celebrating the Chillies 20th wedding anniversary. So apart from the 12 hour southwards trip an an even longer 14 hour homeward one due to heavy snow at this end, it was a cracking round up to my NPOC meets for the year!

Hope 2011 is another good 'un!

"Sluffer" treated his Nissan Primera P10 eZX to a set of D1 spec wheel nuts. The look great and weigh almost nothing as a bonus:

And that's not all he turned his hand to electrical wizardy and fitted this Apexi AFC Neo:

Over to "Geordie" and his feedback.......!

Well, 2010 has been quite a year for me in the NPOC. The highlight has to be JAE in September. It was my first JAE, and what a weekend. My son Cameron made the trip with me, and he was truly welcomed in as one of the family. He loved every minute, as did I. Trophies galore for the club over the weekend, keeping goal in another 5-a-side victory over NCN, being part of the winning quiz team, great food, loads of booze, plenty of laughs....... The weekend was simply superb. I just could not believe the standard of Primeras on the stand, truly awesome. It was just about impossible to judge which was best on the Saturday. Cam and I are looking forward to JAE 2011 already!!

Another personal highlight was being named Car of the Month for April. It truly is an honour to receive the award, and opening 'that' PM from "essNchill" was humbling and exciting in equal measures. To be honest, I was going through a really rough time of it personally in April, so to have the positivity of NPOC to go to at the time really helped me through it all. Thanks guys!

2010 saw me at loads of meets as usual, with Sheffield and Scotland added to all the local NE get-togethers and JAE. Great people, great craik. You just gotta love those meets!!

2010 has been a great year, and I'm sure NPOC will go from strength to strength in 2011!!

November 2010

Car Of The Month for November, went to "Grayspeed"  with his gorgeous red Nissan Primera P10 eGT:

Club Meets:

I guess after JAE in September and all the meets that went down in October, the club were all blown out!! We had no National or Regional meets during November!

Shaun's fav mods from November went to...:

Showing that the simplest of modifications can make soooo much difference "Doug" fitted the chrome interior door handles from a different Primera to his Mystic GTSE, it makes the door interior look fresh and modern:

Another mod that has started to gather pace around here is, using the Nissan Primera P11 144 door bump strips, on the P11. They are a lot flatter and profiled nicely.. "Jim" took on this mod with his GT and here's the result:

Finishing up with a double dash look now... "PrimeraPowa" fitted some chrome / silver dial rings to the dashboard on his Nissan Primera P10 eGT, dull to wow right there!

And something we've never seen before... Look at this funky new dash on the P11 144 belonging to "Nippon1971":

^^ That ^^ car has some spectacular bespoke modifications throughout but still remains as a "work in progress"... You'll be sure to see more of this in 2011!

Members Competition (and random photos):

Onto round 41 of our long standing monthly members photography competition!! This round was won by 2 members (joint tie) - The round was themed "Eleven / 11" - Here were the winning photos, as voted for by our members:

"Ady1970" with this entry

Very close runner up in the competition was "Doug" and this photo:

"prim-n-proper" discovered some snow in November and showed us this photo:

Snow in November!! Hopefull no more in December thenLOL

Over to "harrisg" and his feedback.......!

The highlights for me of 2010:

Immediately, when the topic was started, the LEJOG trip sprung into my head, the fact that three people all jumped into a car and drove that far for a cause and funded everything out of their own pockets speaks depths about the selflessness of the team that keep this site running. The forum was absolutely packed with people posting updates of current location and impromptu meet pictures, showing the dedication of the people that went out of their way to meet you guys en route for pictures, donations, or even just a hug and a chat, was overwhelming. The one moment that summed it up was when "Ant-Dat" came to the rescue and helped you guys out for a portion of the journey. As a collective team, we raised a lot of money for a very worthwhile cause!

One of the more obscure highlights for me was when "twelve" announced his seperation from his partner and everyone rallied round, giving him kind words and offers of accomodation to get his mind off everything, showed the true NPOC spirit of the kind souls that run and post on the forums.

Ferry Meadows (annual Club Meet) was a big deal for me as well, as it was to be my last meet before I deployed to Afghanistan (again!) so I was determined to make it a good one and meet up with the southern fellas, as well as the dedicated gents that drove from all round the country (special mention to "Ant-Dat" again, completely took me back how friendly he was!). Admittedly I got horribly lost trying to find the place but once I did, I had an amazing time and everyone took my chidish banter in good humour ("Tom_P10" in particular for the stealth bumming). I had a great time and finally got to put loads of faces to names!

A regular highlight for me is / was the monthly magazine, as it helped recap and remember various events and modifications around the forums that some people may have missed. Plus, I may have gotten a little bit giddy whenever I saw my name in print LOL!

I personally want to thank the staff team for all the time and effort they put into keeping the website running smoothly and to let them know that you are all fooking legends!

With all my love,

Glenn "Chipper" Harris aka "harrisg"

December 2010

Car Of The Month for December, went to "Leon_gt"  and his Nissan Primera P10 eGT saloon, making it 2 back 2 back wins for the P10 Army (red army!!):

Club Meets:

December sees our long established Xmas (end of year) Meet at the awesome Ace Cafe in London!! We get exclusive use of the car park (if it ain't a Nissan Primera, it ain't allowed in!). Our turnout was scuppered by the stupid snow (aka "Sky Glitter" << Thanks "Katie) and we lost a fair few members... The turnout was still a goodun. After spending the day at Ace Cafe, a lot of our members took hotel rooms in London and enjoyed a night out with a meal and drinks:

You can see all the photos from the day and night here:

http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/ace-cafe-2010_topic45774.html - http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/ace-cafe-2010_topic45774.html

Shaun's fav mods from December went to...:

"Schwen" who already has one of the nicest Nissan Primera P10's out there, added these OEM Primera kick plate rarities, to an already loaded with OEM rare parts car!

"Twelve" had been hoarding a few splendid items for his Nissan Primera P11, finally they kinda came together in December! BC Coilovers and super rare JDM front strut brace (modified to fit with the BC's):

And the super rare JDM xenon quad headlights:

"Ollierockk" fitted a Laguna splitter to the front of his Primera GT as well, instant drop effect:

Members Competition (and random photos):

There were no rounds of the Members Competition during December (well there's one that is running currently but won't be resolved until January).. So that leaves us with a good look at some of the members car photos and stuff instead.. December, hmmmmmnnnn we had some snowLOL

As well as the snow, we had silly cold weather! "Geordie" figured a "lowest recorded temp on the dashboard competition was in order".. He was doing rather well, raising the bar by a few degrees (or should that be lowering??).. Anyways, he peaked with a triumphant:

And was looking good until "Darwin" hit back with the winning:

And sticking with funky things on our clocks... "P11Robb" had to catch this:

Got your numberLOL

Seeing out our final look at the snowtastic month of December.. "Primera Dave" showed us an awesome snow plough:

^^ He also has the OEM Nissan low splitter on that and it's about 8 inches buried in the photo ^^!

2 artistical photos now, showing that the combination of a Nissan Primera P10 and the snow / ice, can be a beautiful marriage.

"SRIGUY" snapped this on the back of his P10:

And finishing up... "Sluffer" and the glorious P10 eZX saloon:

Members personal news:

Notable congratulations went out to "essNchill" & "Biojoba" who celebrated 20 years of marriage in December, this was on the same day as the Ace Cafe Meet - Many thanks from us both for all the pressies.

============================== THE END OF THE REVIEW ==============================

And that ladies, gentlemen and any hybrids, concludes your look back at 2010!! WOW it was a mammoth feature! Did anyone actually make it all the way down here?LOL

I wanted to sign out of the article with some fantastic speech, showing love, leadership and all of that cheese LOL... But the truth of the matter is, if you've made it all the way down to here and after reviewing the year, you're not thinking "fook me, NPOC is the poodles noodles and I'm a part of that", then it won't matter what I have to say about the club etc.. So, nice easy one for me here - YOU make NPOC the massive success that it is, YOU are responsible for where we are today, where we have come from and where we are going!! NPOC is YOUR club, if we don't have the committed and passionate members that keep coming here, we have no club.

Many thanks from myself, Ade and G and here's to 2011Clap

As a final footnote to this and seeing as we're in the COTM Section, I regularly get asked by members, "How do I win COTM?".. I even sometimes get cheeky little PM's saying that they want to get COTM LOL! So here's how we pick our COTM winners and the basic criteria that has to be met:

1. You have to have been a paying member for at least 1 year and you have to be a paying member at the time you get picked for the COTM award. ONLY paying members can win COTM.

2. You have to have shown your car and your mug at some Club Meets, the more the better etc. No one is gonna give a poo about reading about you and your car in a feature, if they haven't got a clue who you are or what you or your car look like in the flesh.

3. You have to have a good and regular board presence and be a known member (online).. Again as in point 2 above, if no one knows who you are, no one is really gonna be interested. Further to this, I can't work with a member for a feature if you're not online!

You may have the best Nissan Primera in the world but if you're an arrogant prick, we're not interested.

4. You may have a cracking car right now and may have met all the above points but if we know your car is in the middle of a project, or is going to become a project shortly, we will not feature it until you're done.. The summary behind this is simple, why feature a car that in 6 months time is not going to be recognisable, or has significantly changed since it got featured (yes this has happened in the past but we weren't aware).

5. Your car can be standard or modified, we don't base our judgement on either.

6. You can be an overseas member and we happily accept that you getting to our club meets, is NOT a part of the criteria in this case. We have featured overseas members before and we fully intend to do so again.

7. If you win a trophy at JAE, this means the members like your car! We always consider JAE trophy winners for our COTM features and it's only a matter of time reallySmile.

That really is about it folks, most of it is common sense. Oh and before I forget, if you do PM and tell me that you should be COTM because your car is sooooo great, it really doesn't help your causeLOL

2010 over and out!

Congratulations once again to NPOC and it's members!
