So as 2014 comes to an end and the club looks to the New Year, I figured that we'd have a look back at all our featured winners for 2014! 2014 saw a new format and change of name too. We went from ye olde COTM (Car Of The Month) feature, to the new MOTM (Member Of The Month) feature. Some members doubted the change but most of you recognised the reasons behind the change (thank you).

So let's get it on.. Our very first MOTM winner in January 2014, was the NPOC Legend and long time NPOC Staff Member, the one and only.. Stevie-Boy

Steve offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

It's humbling, mind blowing, exciting and terrifying all at the same time. As you all know, I'm not the loudest guy around here so I'm not used to being the centre of attention but this means more to me than you could know. In my years of Primera ownership, it always pained me that I never managed to win COTM, it was like the one that got away and eventually became absolutely unachievable. Getting this award is both unexpected and treasured, thank you!

Here's the man himself:

An ex Primera owner sadly but trust me, he's made up for this by many years of previous Primera ownership! His current ride is:

Probably best known in the Nissan Primera world for this badboy however:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

What makes you smile?

Amazing car noises, my daughter, being in lurve, but mostly lady boobies (you did ask!)

February and next up to be featured was timeshock! Ash has 8 years NPOC Membership under his belt and is one of Nissan Primera P12 gurus and generally all round helpful chap!

Ash offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

Wow, what an honour to be asked and following on from “Stevie-Boy” the very first MOTM, this is unbelievable.

Here's the man himself:

The car in the above photo is obviously a Nissan Primera P12, so let's put that in the spotlight:

And I'm gonna remind you all of this picture from his feature:

He won MOTM because this guy represents the very ethos that we try to get achieve here at NPOC!

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

Tell us something things we don't know about you..

I am a blood donor of many years, given 68 donations so far. I would recommend to those that can give, please give, it is one of our greatest gifts, don’t stop there body parts accepted as well.

March and next up to be featured was another member from the NPOC Legend Group and ex BTTC driver, Ant-Dat (I'm never going to get bored of that line)!

Ant offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

You finally got me! After me declining the COTM for so long, I had no excuse to decline this one. Really happy and honoured to accept the new MOTM.

Here's the man himself:

The car in the above photo is obviously a Nissan Primera P11, so let's put that in the spotlight:

Thought the NPOC was all about cars? Wrong, we're about so much more! This photo reminds us all that we're a family:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

What makes you smile?

Driving a sleeper, the looks on people faces when you up and leave is priceless.

April and next up to be featured was TheStigP11GT. Reminding us all that you can learn and take on pretty much anything, when it comes to cars and mechanics.

Chris offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

I must say it is an honour! I never expected that I would have the privilege to become the NPOC MOTM but I must say I am thrilled to bits about it. It has certainly put a nice smile on my face.

Here's the man himself:

He is currently doing up a Nissan Primera P11 (Mystic), so let's put that in the spotlight:

Chris is a VVL nutter and I loved this photo from his feature:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

Your favorite drink (any)?

Coffee, a lot of coffee!

May and next up to be featured was member redshark1. Another one of our very helpful members, always giving his time to help both paying and non paying members, winning this MOTM was always on the cards!

Steve offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

I am genuinely amazed as I keep a low profile and didn’t think I’d get noticed. I knew I’d never get Car of the Month (quite rightly) and was happy with that. But now I’ve been asked to be Member of the Month (what a title, chuckle!) it’s kind of got me out of my comfort zone. But I’m happy to come out of hiding if it contributes to the club that’s helped me so much. I guess every dog has to have its day, even when it would rather stay in the kennel..

Here's the man himself:

He drives a Nissan Primera P11 144 and here she is:

Steve is passionate about keeping this one on the road and this photo from his feature summed that stance up nicely:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

What will it say on your gravestone?

He couldn’t repair his brakes so he thought he’d make his horn louder!

June and next up to be featured was.... Everyone in the NPOC who showed up and joined us on the club stand at Japfest! Thank you guys and gals, for coming out and helping remind the rest of the Japanese car community, that the Nissan Primera is an awesome car.

Some member feedback on the day out by shurv"Another great meet weather wasn't great but good enough. Was good to catch up with everyone cars looked great and excellent company. Thanks to the staff team for all their organization on this."

As usual, we all met up at the pre-meet at silly o' clock haha!

Has everyone forgotten the queue getting in yet LOL, it seems it didn't bother these two crazy members:

Anyways, once inside we lined up and the stand looked like this:

A shout out to member Taz Taylor, for taking his lovely P11 GT out on track as normal:

July and next up to be featured was member darwin. 10 years of NPOC membership under his belt, he's been around!

Luke offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

I know most people say this but I was genuinely surprised and honoured to be chosen out of the many members there are out there.

Here's the man himself:

Another ex Primera owner sadly (as the above photo shows)! His current ride in full is:

Best known in the Nissan Primera world and NPOC for this BT3 beauty however:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

What makes you smile?

My kids succeeding, that includes my pupils as well as my actual kids.

August and next up to be featured was member michaelp9149. He's only been an NPOC "active" member for the last couple of years and shows out at all the big meets up and down the country!

Mike offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

I was and am, still genuinely overwhelmed to be asked to be MOTM. I did not think I had been active enough on the forums, haven't done enough modifications and haven’t been a member long enough etc. But sufficed to say, I am very happy and flattered to be selected and I am genuinely ecstatic, to be part of as you put it, "THE HALL OF FAME"! My Nordic GTLE, who is known as the MILF, is just as happy to have been recognised!

Here's the man (we think haha) himself:

He drives a Nordic Nissan Primera P11 and here she is:

Fine collection of Nissan based badges too (not forgetting the sneaky SOA entry):

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

What makes you smile?

My family, being happy, porn, PS3, Red Bull, boobies, the MILF, snakebite, Sons of Anarchy, oatcakes and cheese on toast with beans on top. I'm definitely not a complex man. What can I say I'm easily pleased.

September and next up to be featured was.... Everyone in the NPOC who showed up and joined us on the club stand at Japfest 2 in August! Thank you guys and gals, for coming out and helping remind the rest of the Japanese car community, that the Nissan Primera is an awesome car.

Some member feedback on the day out by Sluffer: "Was good to see everyone who came today, was good to meet the new guys and much respect to those that ventured out on track."

Thankfully, no real issues getting into this event either! The convoy and queue from the pre-meet was trouble free:

Anyways, once inside we lined up and the stand looked like this (enjoy the line of Almeras too, as they were our guests due to space issues):

Shout outs and piccies to the following club cars that mixed it up on the track:

October and as the National Jap Car Meets calendar wound up, next up to be featured was.... Everyone in the NPOC who showed up and joined us on the club stand at the epic weekender (4 day event), know to all as JAE (Japanese Auto Extravaganza)! Thank you guys and gals, for coming out and helping remind the rest of the Japanese car community, that the Nissan Primera is an awesome car.

Some member feedback on the weekender by Blue"Can't even begin to express how special this year's JAE was. Everyone who came to this one just made it a fantastic event that I am rather ashamed to have been missing for the last four years. There are so many people that I would like to name but tbh, it's prolly worth me saying that everyone who came this year have my eternal gratitude for making it such an enjoyable gathering. The NPOC staff and the guys who have helped out with the BBQ etc deserve a massive amount of praise and respect. Thank you all so much."

Here's a photofest, covering the stand, the fun, the catering and the members:

November and next up to be featured was Elite Member Grim. Single handedly responsible for the death of more Nissan Primeras than anyone else! But on the flip side, he keeps the rest of the club cars on the road too, so it's a Ying Yang thang!

Here's a link to his feature:

Graham offered up this response, when given the news that he had won:

Chuffed would be the honest answer.

Here's the man himself (with the rest of the family):

He drives a unique Nissan Primera P11 144 and here she is:

With this gorgeous interior:

From his quick fire question round, we got this:

Your lucky number?

I don't have one but I'll say 5, don't know why though.

And whilst we can all try and work out why Graham did randomly pick the number 5 LOL!.. I'll bid you all farewell from this feature. I hope you've enjoyed the yearly look back, there's been some awesome memories and some great cars too!

Have a great Christmas peeps and we'll see you all back here and ready for the January 2015 MOTM Feature!

Congratulations once again to ALL our featured winners!
