Hi,
New member here! Have an '07 T-Spec P12 Primera. I'm having a slight issue with the Child Lock. As far as i can see everything works fine. I press the child lock button, the back doors and windows lock, i press it again and the doors and windows unlock and i hear a beeping warning me that its turned off. However while the child lock is off, if I turn on the ignition the back doors lock/unlock and i hear beeping for 10 seconds warning me the child lock is off. This happens every time i start the car and the beeping is driving me mad. My issue appears to be whats happening in the highlighted information below but i dont understand the "Child lock not completely released" part, please help! |

I had a similar issue. My fix was to replace the door lock mechanism on my right, rear door.
You can get a mechanism on eBay for £30.
Naturally, your issue might be caused by a different fault - but it's food for thought. |

My issue after a bit more investigating appears to be more like the one below.
https://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/nissan-primera-p12-child-locks-On-in-error_topic79599.html The child lock is not disengaging on the rear drivers side door. I can lock/unlock the door with the key fob and open it from the outside. When i click the child lock button on the drivers door i can hear the left rear door lock/unlock but nothing happens on the rear driver side door. I dont think its the actuator as the key fob locks the door correctly. Is there anyway to disengage the electronic child lock from behind the door card? Thanks.
