Hello Everyone.
Just purchased this absolutely mint 2005 Sx 1.8 hatchback. It's only done 76000 miles and the chap I bought it from had owned it from 2 months old - June 2005! The passenger front window wasn't working at the time of purchase, so last week i had a new regulator mechanism fitted. It worked perfectly, and I noticed the motor ( ArvinMeritor) did not have a 'reset' button on it. In fact no buttons at all. Just the 2 pin connector. This window goes goes up and down with out pausing. How ever the drivers side window only goes down a couple of inches at a time, but goes up slightly quicker - about 3 inches a time. I note the switch pack housing in the drivers side door is loose; I'm assuming someone has removed it before to have a look at the connections. Is there a procedure for resetting this?

Welcome to NPOC,
Usual process for resetting Windows on most Cars is closing the Window and then holding the Switch in the up position for about 5-10 Secs.

Thank you all.
This car is sadly under rated and neglected by most buyers. The versions with 17" wheels have a choppy ride (like mine), but other than that it is a fine car. It should have lasted a lot longer in the UK market. I've tries the usual resetting procedure with no avail. Will have a look at the switches next week.
