(I did search for E10 in topic titles, but didn't find any results; maybe too short a search string). Any opinions on how this may affect the P11? Petrol on the forecourts is going to be changed from the current 5% ethanol (E5) to 10% (E10) - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-57585105 The goverment website (https://check-vehicle-compatibility-e10-petrol.service.gov.uk/) regarding Nissan only states: "E10 petrol is cleared for use in all models with petrol engines from 1st January 2000." I guess this would mean the P11-144 is OK. Since that's a facelift model, I'm assuming the working parts are the same as on a P11; therefore the P11 should be OK too. Since E10 has been available in Belgium, Finland, France and Germany for some time, I would hope there's an experienced answer out there.

We have had ethanol fuels in the US for a long time. Even in our p10 owners manual it says it is okay up to 10%. |

Oh. Well the long of the short of it is anything relatively modern EFI is fine. Biggest problem with ethanol is older stuff or some of the new cheap small engine stuff like lawn mowers with plastic carburetors. They don't last very long.
You'll get worse mileage too. |
