Hi NPOC.

It's been a while now. But that's because I never had serious problems with our car.
It's 17 years old now. Last week someone who was tailgating me killed the  car while I stopped at the railway crossing red lights. Couldn't release the brakes, because the train was passing by. So I guess I was lucky.
We will terribly miss our car. Every year we drove 5000 km to Spain and back without problems or back pains...
I stop by here to thank you all for this club. I learned a lot here to make life with our P12 even more easy.
Thanks guys, for now it's  goodbye. Our daughter donated us her Toyota Yaris.

Edward, from Belgium

Sad news indeed but on the upside I guess insurance will pay out ? Being a p12 auto it would probably have shit itself soon anyway 🤔😁

Don't know about that... Never failed me and looked good to go for another 2-5 years.
Insurance will pay less than 1000â‚Ŧ. I can't buy me another good gasoline Prim for that money.

No need for you to go Edward, you can always pop in now and again, and you never know, you just may come across another P12. Thumbs Up

Sorry to hear this news.

After years of service, the last thing your P12 did was protect you when you needed it most. Perhaps that's some comfort.

Take care.

sorry to hear about the car, at least you guys are still there, and can get another if you get the chance, I would argue with the insurance for more, and not just settle on first quote from them

Thank you all for the kind replies guys.
Yesterday someone came to pick it up and send it to Africa...
He told me over there they will use some coke cans, pull here and there and it will be going for another 10 years. LOL Well I hope people in Africa can enjoy it as much as I did.

Edward
