Hi an ex 1980's Datsun mechanic, in the days of the Bluebird  Stanza and zx. In the days when fuel injection was all new !
Needed a runaround to replace my tired Rover, so found Primera world,
a lot of car for the money and hooray, chain drive, YES !

Hi, thanks for reply, it's a 1994 1.6 16v 5 door hatch in Green.
A few tweaks over the weekend, welded pipe to rear box to gain a few
weeks before i get a new one, (time to look for best price) and also
replaced both alt and power steering belts, fixed the heater fan resistor today, oil change etc this coming weekend. Will post pics soon.
Seem to be a few Bikers here, nice one, I trained as a Triumph mechanic in the early 70's (first Job ) owned many (british) bikes, not ridden sinse i think about 1979 !

Blimey, too old and scared thanks, but hey a 120y that would be fun to drive again, fast as flip, as you say.
I tend to buy cars that cost little, hence the Rovers, as i drive around the lanes here in Devon mostly,  and they have a fairly hard life having to dive in to hedges due to townies on holiday who have posh German cars with expensive mirrors and need to be in the middle of the road !

^^LOL^^

Hi Dave and a big welcome to NPOCWave

Had to chuckle at your comment above! I don't drive a big Panzer Wagon or owt but value my alloys on the Primera and paint work and so fall into the same guilty category.. Many a narrow country lane I have caused hold ups on LOL.

Enjoy the forums and take care,
Shaun
