Hi I just recently joined and I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY PRIMERA P11 i have had the car from new but around jan this year have been experiencing problems when the car is ticking over the rev counter is constantly moving by about 400 revs not only can I hear & see it but when I drive the car is very jumpy like kangaroo petrol and has very little power I have been to four different mechanics and tried several things including draining the petrol tank plus have had it diagnosed at least four times as well but cannot find a fault and my management light is not on and is showing no faults can anyone please help

Hi Charlie have you had the Maf cleaned with carb cleaner as this could be at fault?

As above, there is a how to in the relevant section showing how to clean the MAF and where it is located DEPENDING on which engine size you've got.

Can you confirm that this is a P11 and not a P11-144 http://www.npoc.co.uk/forum/which-nissan-primera-do-i-own_topic194.html Sounds a little like a stretched timing chain which is usually more common on the P11-144. |
