Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I only have the only have the one key. Teid the obvious lol, thought it was the fob battery, that didn't work. Tried the programme mode to reboot the key. That failed. Tried taking the battery off for 30 mins, stereo came on briefly, but couldn't Scan for stations, then went back to secure mode. Main dealer was as much use as a chocolate teapot. :( Just wanty car to lock, that's the mail. Concern atm. |

For security then, you can use the key manually, just remove the key cover on the passenger door to access it

I can't remember if it operates the central locking if it does not then use the lock button on the drivers door |

Okay cokey. New to this motor so trying to still work it out lol.
Should the main dealer know how to sort these issues? Is there anything that I need them to do as I going to a different one Tomorrow and id rather that they didn't fob me off. Cheers :) |

Personally I would not go to a main dealer for anything, it is just going to be very expensive and I doubt they have anyone left there that can remember a P12.
You can try taking the cowls of the steering wheel to get access to the ignition barrel to clean the NATS antennae, that may resolve the secure message which I am assuming it is the green one ( there are also red and yellow secure messages) I doubt it is NATs causing entry issues but it may well be the SECU which is located in the drivers foot well.

Yep green screen. Who would be the best bet to help sort it? I get
what your saying bout the main dealer, but if not them who? as there doesn't seem to be any Nissan specialist around here. Ill try the clean up and see what happens. Wish me luck lol |

Well if you are sure it is not a key programming issue (did you complete the sequence?) then have a look here
