Hello from România

My name is Dragos and I am 22 yo, my father owns a Nissan Primera P10 from 1995 and I really love that car since we got it in 2007 from uk(wheel on the right). This car has been through a lot recently and it constantly has the “check engine” light turned on.

1995 - maybe the catalytic converter and sensors. Are your Country's annual inspections (if any?) as strict as UK I wonder. I know a guy who brought an old Dacia back from Romania this past year and it needed work to pass the annual inspection here but was legal in Romania. I'm not sure whether this car will have an OBDII socket for diagnostics being a '95. I had a '95 Sunny years ago and remember it as being incredibly well made and reliable. Nissan cars nowadays are generally crap.

Idk, we live in Romania, i don’t plan moving to uk, I just found out a forum dedicated for Nissan Primera so I instantly had to join. I want to buy a new engine for the car, something new that consumes less fuel, I don’t drive so fast, I don’t need more bhp. And yes, the new cars are pretty bad, I don’t like the exterior either. I think they use Renault engines now. The only new Japanese cars that look good are Mazdas, the new mx5 and Mazda 6 are flawless.
