Nissan primera wp11 2.0 140 can’t start- while my girlfriend was driving Yesterday the car suddenly went out.. we have shifted a bunch of things.. lambda, distributor, sparks, fuel pump and filter..
Does some of you have an suggestion? The car has been stalling when speeding up for some time- træls why all the things have been shifted..
the chain rattles- but have done it for years🤷🏼‍♂️🙈
Testing before this accident did not tell something specific.
What type of diagnoses equipment do you recommend for diy.. could be Nice today to have an idea before sending it to a mechanic?
The car/engine turns fine- just not starting🤥
Been going 327.000km🙈🤞🏻 Love that rusty car🥰😍

144 is infamous for maf failure , early signs are poor idle and stalling. I guess in your description of stalling when speeding up you mean it holds back? This is also could be the maf. Unplug it see it makes any difference it should still start but won’t run for long .
Sorry I scraped all those primeras ☹️

Sadly secondhand maf can’t be trusted unless you fit it back on donor car and it works .

I see you mentioned your chain rattles , it should only rattle on cold start for second or two. If it’s rattling all the time then it’s stretched and the timing will be out .

Sorry to hear this. Has the mechanic confirmed whether there's any associated damage, e.g. valves?

Another broken chain, Sadly i have lost count of the number of broken chains i have repaired.

The SR20 is an interference fit engine meaning there will be valve and possibly head damage. the cost of replacing the engine is probably less because the tie involved in repairing is probably more than swapping the engine.
Shame your in Denmark as i have a low mileage GT engine in stock.
