I wouldn't worry at this stage - he isnt going to want to damage his ebay 100% reputation over a £410 car - Not all Ebay members are easy and accomodating and he could have decided to go away for the Bank holiday weekend at short notice. You told him you couldnt pick the car up anyway till your 18th Birthday, so he just doesnt see it as that urgent. Dont get all up tight about it, as far as he's concerned you've paid your deposit and will be picking up the car in a week or so's time, so its just life I'm afraid - the car is gonna be available after the bank holiday and hes probably letting someone use it until then. The time to start worrying is if he cancels Tuesday without good reason and then you are not able to pick the car up on your 18th. You only need to go once to see it - when you go to pick it up, and if its significantly not as described you need to point this out and then if he refuses a refund of deposit, then take it through paypal.
