Car won't start, battery is ok, pretty sure the problem is the starter solenoid. Anyone know how easy this is to replace? Thanks

Easy enough job but you access to top and bottom of car so ramps or axle stands required. Two bolts hold the starter and an engine brace at rear needs to be moved for access. Helpful to have someone hold the starter motor in position on refit so you can get the bolts back in .

Before I go replacing the solenoid, I am right in thinking that it can't be the MAF sensor? I know these can be dodgy on the Primeras, but I think the car would still start even with a dodgy MAF? ( Mine has the SR20DE engine)
