p12 dci clutch problem?

   Hi, newbie to forums so please bear with me.

I have recently purchased a 53 plate p12 primera with 150,000 on the clock. 
I was very happy with the car, drives very well despite the high mileage. 

I have a recurring problem with the clutch. When I start and drive the car the clutch operates well until I accelerate hard or long motorway journeys.  It seems that when the gearbox heats up I lose some hydraulic pressure in the clutch. The pedal stops returning to top (maybe half way). I dont want to have to replace the clutch unless I have to as its such an expense. 

So can any of you bright chaps advise me on what to look at first etc?
