Here is a short how-to on posting images on the forum.
Picture sizes are reccomended to be kept around 800x600 maximum.
In this how-to I'll be using Imageshack and Photobucket.
Pros and con of each... Photobucket requires registration but imageshack doesn't. You can register at imageshack to enable you to keep track of your images. Photobucket has a bandwidth and storage limit but Imageshack doesn't Photobucket alows folders to organise your images
Goto http://www.imageshack.us/ - http://www.imageshack.us/ or http://www.photobucket.com/ - http://www.photobucket.com .
Imageshack When you goto Imageshack, click the browse button to find a file on your computer.

Select it then click 'open', then 'host it'. Once it's uploaded copy the direct link, that is the url.
For it to appear in a post as an image then either..... ..click the 'insert image' button in the post reply box and paste it into the popup box (make sure you delete the existing http:// in the box) ..or just paste it into the reply box and type the IMG tags around it.
Here is the "insert image" icon (a tree) - You must be in "Full Reply" mode, or making a new thread to see it:
Click on that button and on the right hand side of the box that pops up, you will have this field - Copy in your uploaded image location (URL):
To insert an image without using the "insert image" button, just type in your image REMEMBERING the image tags:
If you use the insert image button then the image will appear straight away, if you use the IMG tags then it will appear When you post the reply or preview it.
Photobucket For Photobucket, when you uploaded a picture (very similar process as above) you will have three links below the picture. The url, the html tagged link and IMG tagged link.
As above, you use the url with the insert image button or just copy and paste the IMG tagged link (this already as the IMG tags around it).
Many Thanks to MarkButs3 for this guide.
