hi everyone Smile

I have recently bought a P11 Primera 2.0 GX and I'm chuffed to bits with itTongue

I have a couple of minor probs with it.

Firstly the headlights. They are stuck on main beam, is there any way that they could be adjusted or will I need to shell out for some new headlights?

Secondly A/C is not working and I would like to get this sorted. Would it need recharging?

These might seem like silly questions Confusedbut i'm not mechincally minded and your advice would be appreciated.

welcome aboard matey, i would have thought that the headlight prob may just be a switch problem, and the a/c more than likely needs recharging,

Well, here she is, some pics of my motor.

I bought her for £700 with 129k on the clock, it was a part ex.

The prim replaced a very "snail like" Ford Mundano Turbo (Ha, Ha !!!) diesel.

Having some probs getting pics on hereAngry, anyone got any advice?

Welcome to NPOC Matty.

As Sam says it could be just a switch problem which is cheap enough, but before getting a new switch, just have a look at the plugs that go into the back of headlight's. The P10's had probs with the n/s ones burning out after a while, causing the headlights to do allsorts of magic tricks when switching them on.
As has been said before your A/C could just need a recharge, as after time and if not used on regular basis, they lose their gas.
And to post your pics try using an image hosting site, such as Imageshack, photobucket or Flickr

 Enjoy your time here

Welcome along.  You have a lovely car and don't worry, mine is a 2.0 GX too and looked exactly like like that before I joined!  Look what effect the club has had now!

Also, you have clear rears and they are pretty rare!

That looks a top motor Matt. I was gonna say it reminded me of Tims green motor^^^^

Cheap mods are gonna be things like laguna splitter on the front bumper, bits of trim here and there. Tbh you're better off having a look at the members car section and getting some ideas.

Welcome Matt, cars looks good, especially for £700.
Love the colour, really suits the P11, and yours has clear rears which are a sought after mod for those that dont have them.

good easy and cheap mod to get you on your way is a set of clear side repeaters (The ones that go on the front wing) can be had for about £15-£20 and about 10 minutes to fit
Not forgetting your membership for here, well worth the £15, can save yourself a fortune on 2nd hand parts and mods

Thanks all for the welcome and all your advice.

List of things to fit (in no particular order! and funds permitting
1. Clear side repeaters to match the rear clears (cheers Dan)
2. Rear spoiler
3. Laguna splitter (cheers Blue)
4. Alloys (Not sure what size I need???) quite like the 5 spoke wolfrace type

And i've took Dan's advice and became an NPOC member, I'm sure it will be worth it.

16's give the best ride, 18's give it the look but not the ride, 17's well they're just old hat now lol

you need 4x114.3,  66.1mm bore, not 100% on the offset for the p11's but somewhere between 38-42mm I believe.
