Hi All,
I'm looking into buying a used P11 2.0 TDi with the following VIN number:
sjnbdap11u0007524.
Unfortunately, none of the VIN search engines came up with a "correct" answer. I'm always missing something to get a correct result. I made sure (called the seller ten times) that I have the exact VIN characters and couldn't get a credible report on it.
Can anyone please help, with credible info on the car, based on the VIN I've provided. If I get this one right, I'll actually buy the car.
Many thanks, to all of you Primera fans, for your assistance.
Cheers from Skopje, Macedonia!

I wouldn't rely too much on those online VIN number checks.
I just tried mine on the site run by Experian, and it came back as FALSE. But...... I have a valid MOT certificate, and that is checked against the DVLA computer system rather than some private company's back-room bodge up.
ZoZo's VIN is correct up to the first Zero.
sjnbdap11u0
sjn = Nissan Passenger Vehicle b = 4 Door d = CD20T engine a = 2 wheel drive p11 = Model u = European Market 0 = Not used, it's just there to make the code up to 17 characters.
The last six digits are the Vehicle Serial Number.

| SJN denotes the country it was made in, not that it's a passenger Vehicle.
SJN = England
JN = Japan
VSK = Spain.

Hmmm.
I got that info from the FSM, which shows first 3 characters as Manufacturer : SJN : Nissan, Passenger Vehicle.
