Hi All,

Just bought myself a 1997 2.0 Auto SE so decided to join the club! It's been 19 years since I've owned a Primera having had my first 1997 'R' reg 2.0 Auto SX back in 2000 I've somehow found my way back to owning another in 2019!

I'm not new to 90s Nissans having owned a 100NX, 2x200sx(S13), 4x300zx(Z32) and finally a QX I've not owned one for nearly 10yrs but they've always been 90s cars. My Wife has had her 2015 'Renault' X-Trail LOL

for 2 years and I must say I really don't like it and I did lose interest in Nissan for quite some time.

I've dabbled with a plugin-Hybrid Chevy Volt for the past 18months but I have to say, they just don't make cars like they used to and I really fancied a bit of a running project so find myself in a Primera yet again. It still drives extremely well and feels as tight as the day it was made.

The Primera P11 has aged well I think and I am very happy to be back in one!

Hopefully will get it cleaned up, looking sharp and ready to join you all at a meet soon.

Welcome to the club. Definitely need some pics up of the new trusty steed. They're getting a bit harder to come by now so you've done well to bag one Thumbs Up

I had a couple of S13 back in the day loved those, the Z32 always evaded me though, I think I was just too scared to own one given the potential bills if they go wrong!!

Hi All,

As promised - here are some pics of my 'new' P11 SE. Very happy with it, good engine and sily smooth gear change and just a couple of jobs left to do.

Already replaced front wiper motor, spindles and blades;

Fixed a water leak from front;

Replaced electric mirror switch.

Pushed out dent from nearside corner of bumper.

Serviced

Paid £350 and it's on 89K.

To Do:

Replace/repair rear wiper motor;

Have some panels that need a good T-Cut and all over polish;

Locate slight whine/bearing noise (suspect idler pulley or something);

Replace Aerial;

Figure out why Boot only opens with key;

@Grim - 'fraid so but not because I dislike the car - quite the opposite (owned a few over the years). Last in first out. Need some funds for other projects and spotted something else I 'need'. Not leaving for good as I plan to get a GT as a keeper in the 'collection', just waiting for the right one. Primera P11 and Almera N15 pair is the dream team (His and Hers).
