Hi guys, my other halves car has started having issues when starting, very rarely when she goes to start it, it won't turn over she has to wait for a couple of secs and it works when she tries again
When it does turn over it is very sluggish, the battery is only 3 months old and is fully charged. Any ideas as to where to look first

Right guys I've checked all earth straps and they are good, ive cleaned all earth points still have the same problem, I need to get this sorted pronto as we both work for different care homes and need our vehicles as we are still working

Any black smoke out the back when you try to start it? when was the last time you changed the diesel filter? Try priming the pump. does it firm up after a couple of depressions?

No smoke on start up, filter is 2 months old as is oil,oil filter and air filter

did your starting problem occur before or after your service, have you done the priming test? Diesel filter is not normally part of a service.
