Hi, after four Bluebirds over 15 years I have went and bought a 1999 diesel Primera hatchback. The car has only 36k miles and one previous owner who before he sadly passed away clearly loved the car and it's been serviced 23 times and came with a huge amount of paperwork detailing everything for the car. It's in almost new condition and will be very well looked after by me. My car before it was a Nissan Leaf which I owned for 5 years but the range was beginning to be an issue and I wanted to go on long camping road trips, so bought a diesel. So far the Primera has been really good on fuel, and being a basic old engine should be very hassle free. I really like the way the car now stands out from the modern cars which all look the same and the styling still looks good, maybe even better than when it was new. I intend to keep the car indefinitely and put on a several hundred thousand carefree miles. Looking at a European tour next year with a roof tent, while using my trailer tent this year. |
